Shared spaces take more traffic than a backyard and have to look right every day. We grade and drain the base so the space is usable after a storm, then finish it in turf that stays green without mowing.
On the roof of The Atrium on Bayshore Blvd, South Tampa, we built a rooftop turf, tennis and pickleball sport complex: a turf field beside fenced, two-tone courts with the skyline behind them. On the ground, we turned a bare gravel courtyard between two buildings into a graded, drained turf lawn with light poles.
